Islamic Civilization Park is located on the island of Wan Man, a small island off the east coast of Terengganu. Officially opened in February 2008 and costs about RM250 million, it is one of Terengganu’s newer attractions and it is the prime attraction of Wan Man that was only previously surrounded by lush tropical surroundings. Wan Man Island is located about 1.2 kilometres from the Terengganu State Museum located on the outskirts of Kuala Terengganu. The Islamic Civilization Park’s size is 22 hectares in total and it is divided into two zones: Zone A and Zone B. Zone A takes up 10 hectares while Zone B completes the remaining 12 hectares. According to Islamic Civilization Park, an additional 8.4 hectares of reclamation land that will be allocated for future development of the park.
Island Civilization Park intends to set itself from other recreational parks by adopting an approach in creating a platform for both recreational and holistic activities. It is the mission and vision of the park to make holistic activities enjoyable and entertaining through fun and games. Visitors will also be able to learn about Islamic civilization and history in a fun and entertaining way. The park is famous for its scaled-down replicas of the 22 famous and timeless mosques and monuments found all over the world. These mosques and monuments can be found at the Monument Park located in Zone A.

Visitors can choose to spend a night or couple of nights at Crystal Villa when they visit the Islamic Civilization Park. The rates of the villas start from RM160 to RM300 inclusive of 6% GST based on half day, full day basis. Villa 1 and 2 has 3 bedrooms with 1 double bed and 2 single beds and 2 bathrooms. Villa 3 and 4 has 3 bedrooms with 2 double beds and 1 single bed and 3 bathrooms. The rates also include 2 free passes to the Monument Park. The check-in time is 2PM and the check-out time is 12PM.
Islamic Civilization Park is opened from 10AM to 7PM on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays and it is opened from 9AM to 7PM on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. It is also very important to note that the Islamic Civilization Park will be closed on Tuesdays. Plan your trip well so you don’t end up visiting the park on the day when it is closed.
The basic admission charges to get into Monument Park is RM21.20 per adult. There will also be an additional discount of RM10 discount if you own a MyKad, Malaysia’s national identity card. Furthermore, senior citizens and children from age 7 to 12 years old only need to pay RM15.90. For children below 7 years old, it is free of charge but they must be accompanied by their parents. The adult ticket is inclusive of entrance ticket, a meal voucher of RM2 and a souvenir voucher of RM2. As senior citizens only pay RM15.90, their tickets are only inclusive of the entrance ticket. All ticket prices are inclusive of 6% GST and the last call for buying tickets is at 6.15PM. Any attempts to buy a ticket after that time will be not possible.

How to Get To Islamic Civilization Park?
There are 3 different ways to get to Islamic Civilization Park. You can either take a town bus from Taman Shahbandar, take a taxi from most hotels and resorts in Kuala Terengganu or you can experience a new way by getting there using a water taxi or locally known bot penambang. The water taxi option is suggested as it provides an unforgettable experience.
